Early in 2004 one of our members attended a Cowboy Action Shoot and out of that event a dream was born. The Gun Club had the property, space, time and lots of enthusiasm to follow this dream, hence the Rockvale Bunch was born.
The Rockvale Gun Club encourages organized firearms shooting among citizens of the United States and within our community, with a view toward a better knowledge of citizens of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship; and to forward the development of these characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism. Also to provide a shooting range for the membership; to encourage fraternalism, the exchange of information and cooperation among persons interested in firearms ownership and recreation; to advance the interest of the general commmunity in firearms ownership and pursue such other related educational and charitable purposes.
